The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology (BAIUST), Cumilla, organized a training session titled “The Role of Administrative Officers in Quality Assurance and Accreditation” on 9 June 2026 in the university conference room.
The training was graced by the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Brigadier General Md. Kamal Uddin Kamal, ndc, psc, as the Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasized the importance of securing accreditation for all academic programs of the university at the earliest possible time through the coordinated efforts of faculty members and administrative officers.
Dr. Mohammad Sayedur Rahman, Professor, Department of Chemistry, and Director, IQAC, Cumilla University, conducted the training session as the Resource Person. The program was moderated by Ms. Salma Parvin Suma, Associate Professor, Department of English, and Additional Director, IQAC, BAIUST. The welcome address was delivered by Professor Dr. Md. Tahidur Rahman, Director, IQAC, BAIUST.
The Treasurer, Registrar, and Director of Student Welfare attended the program as Special Guests. All administrative officers of the university, along with members of the Self-Assessment Committees (SACs) of various academic programs, participated in the training. The session featured detailed discussions on the roles, responsibilities, and required actions of administrative officers in ensuring quality assurance and facilitating accreditation processes.
